The Girl Who Silenced the World for 5 Minutes

At 12 years old this girl is amazing. I was pretty clueless at 12. At the 5:15 mark is when my emotions got stuck in my throat! I just hope the people she's addressing really take to heart her message. It's my wish anyway. For the rest of us, we can do our best to do our part.

my local grocery stores sell COCONUTS, but idn about YOUNG coconuts???!

and my whole foods surprisingly doesnt have many things that other whole foods have.... idn why...!? It barely has ANY raw food items either. =/

but next time i will take a closer look to see if they have young coconuts!!!

hm, i was just at the grocery and it didnt have them... man... nashville SUCKSSSSSSS for being a raw foodist!

but since im going to atlanta this weekend, im going to the huge farmers market and i was just informed that they sell them by the case! 9 for 12 bucks! i'll trust you and the person who told me a buy a case....... i hope i like them! do you have any fav recipe ideas?

Yeah, I'm not sure what it is that turns someone away from the principles that we know to be right, to be true. We teach them in schools, in churches and we talk the talk but we act opposite.

I think if we start raising the level of conciousness and get people to continue to lend their voices, these voices of reason, of logic, of caring, will start to turn the tide.

Everyone applauded but what did their applause mean? Was it displacing what she said or embracing it? Still, there's also hope that people like her are growing up in this mess and seeking to make a difference.

We’ve all daydreamed about having a superpower like superheroes, haven’t we? I mean Superman can fly, reverse time (at least, in the name of love) and is uber strong. I know I'm supposed to be working on a different post - about my trip - but wanted to interrupt that to share something else. ******** People into the raw food lifestyle are familiar with the "glow." Maybe you're one who's been told a time or two that you have the glow. It's noticeable to spot a person who obviously is taking care of themselves by what they do and put into their bodies and especially when on the raw food lifestyle. Eating raw foods allows your body to properly process and digest foods plus all the those living enzymes and minerals means less work your body has to do so the result is a beautiful youthful glow.
