Please excuse me while I organize myself here. Some of my posts will basically be catching up posts and are more for me so you might find them less exciting, mundane or random. For YS2’s birthday last month we got him a Strider pre-bike or a balance bike. If you’re not familiar with a balance bike, it’s a little tyke bike without training wheels or pedals so the focus is on balance . Everyone can pedal or easily learn, right? But balancing on a bike isn’t that easy. When it’s time to transition to a “big boy” bike there will hopefully be less spills and owies and instead lots more yays and smiles. For Japan relief, click here . Hey, I’ve seen spring people! Yes, I have - I saw it over by Trader Joe’s. There were pink blossoms, lots of them, on the trees. It was a lovely and welcome sight. Today is my blog’s 3rd birthday! Yeehaw! Ah, it seems like only yesterday I wrote my first post . ::sigh:: It’d be fun to look back at some of the old Blogger comments but Disqus overrode them and I’m not sure how to fix that (if anyone knows how to export/import comments from one commenting system to another I’m all ears!). My blog and I have been through many changes and ups and downs over these past three years. I’ve also come in contact with some incredible people. You. I want to express my appreciation for everyone who’s stopped by my blog, especially the regulars. I appreciate and love the support. First off, happy anniversary to ME! My lil ol' blog has passed the one year mark. Well, it was last week on the 26th (oopsie!) but that's alright. It's been an interesting year. I began blogging with some apprehension because writing isn't typically how I express myself, although, I used to faithfully keep a journal (hand cramps!) as a teenager. With some inspiration and encouragement from my husband and sister I decided to venture into the blogging world. Or is it venturing into the dark side? ha ha! Hmmm... A lot of growth over the year. I've learned more about health, food and myself. I mean, hubby and I started gardening and I admit I actually enjoy it. My health improved, I lost weight and gained many friends. Oh, and I got pregnant too! Talk about growth....and so much for the weight I lost previously. Ha ha! At least, now I know what to do to get healthy and stay healthy whereas before, I just talked about how I wanted to get healthy but didn't know how o...

You know how to make a girl feel special. :) I'm quite late in responding to this award but it turns out to be very timely with Valentine's Day coming up because the fun part of this award is I share with you 7 things that I love, and then I nominate 7 others for this award.
