Dippin'

A couple of you asked about the balsamic dipping sauce I mentioned in an earlier post. Since it was my hubby who tweaked and perfected the recipe I'll leave it up to him to share his recipe with you on his blog, which hopefully will be soon. It's yummy, especially with fresh tomatoes!

I just did a quick scroll down your blog...so much to catch up on. I'm hoping to sneak in a few minutes this afternoon. I've been doing some potty training with my son this week. So...you and Yardsnacker are a married item. My inquiring blogger mind had always wanted to know. OK, catch you later!

Hi Rosie, Happy Thursday! It's almost TGIF day! I've been working from home most of this week since my boss is out of town and he's the only person I ever see in the office, it's been a nice change...but there's also some personal turmoil happening so it's helped to be home.

To answer your question about it being hard to give up fosters when they get adopted...yes, it is difficult. I have had about a dozen foster dogs, only got one kitty adopted out so far and one of my good friends took him so felt really good about that because they fell in love with him.

The reason I foster the way I do is so that I can feel comfortable about giving the furkids to their new families, I do the interviews, I do the home visits, I personally get to make sure that I am happy with the individual match as well as the environment and people that they will spend the rest of their lives with. So I always feel really good about it and although it is hard and I miss them, I do get attached to them all, I have a lot of my own pets and it is nice to have a little break in between and some quiet time with my own kids, giving them extra love and affection. Most of the families who have adopted my fosters still email me and send me pics and stuff so that makes it much, much easier!
mmmmmmmmm
I can't wait

Someday you're going to have some amazing kids!!! :-)
I will be looking for that recipe, it sure looks tasty from your picture! It's great to know that Yardsnacker is your husband! Funny, it seems so many didn't know, it's like you all intentionally kept it a secret! :0)

I agree with greenridge herbals, you guys are a special couple!
