ME! (applause-whistles-and woo hoos!!). So what did I win? Well, I won a Brillante Weblog 2008 award! What does this mean? I'm not sure exactly but it's fancy and sparkly and means someone loves me and I love it! Special thanks to Lauren at Ginger is the New Pink for even considering me for this honor - thank you thank you!!

Gosh, I don't know what to say. I wasn't expecting this so no speech is prepared. I'm not even dressed up for it (no pictures please)! ha ha! I did toy with the idea of titling this post "My Plan for World Domination is Successfully Underway" but since I'll be sharing the joy I didn't find it appropriate this time around. ;)

Now the rules state, which I'll post below, I'm to nominate seven new people. At first, I thought EASY but after looking at my list I ended up have a difficult time choosing because as far as I'm concerned YOU ALL HAVE BRILLANTE BLOGS! Lauren also had this same problem so she nominated eight people (can I nominate 50+ people?). I did consider those who would appreciate the sentiment but not necessarily want the obligation of passing this along or posting the award on their blog. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

I will add tyedye pics tomorrow (since im soaking them overnight and then seeing what they look like tomorrow)

But it was a blast (i am actually KNOWN for wearing tyedye... especially among climbers. People know me as "the girl who always wears tyedye" ha ha... )

WEGO Health: Superpower!

We’ve all daydreamed about having a superpower like superheroes, haven’t we? I mean Superman can fly, reverse time (at least, in the name of love) and is uber strong. Spiderman, well, he uses web power to fly around and catch bad guys. There are other interesting superpowers like invisibility, walking through walls, shape shifting, or reading of the mind. That last one doesn’t interest me much ever since I watched an old episode of the Twilight Zone where the character could suddenly hear everyone’s thoughts and there was no filter so it became overwhelming and noisy in his head. Um, no thanks. At certain times though, I’ve wished for the ability. Could’ve saved a lot of problems, you know? Or be a fly on the wall… * According to this list, there’s insanely rich. The "Glow"

I know I'm supposed to be working on a different post - about my trip - but wanted to interrupt that to share something else. ******** People into the raw food lifestyle are familiar with the "glow." Maybe you're one who's been told a time or two that you have the glow. It's noticeable to spot a person who obviously is taking care of themselves by what they do and put into their bodies and especially when on the raw food lifestyle. Eating raw foods allows your body to properly process and digest foods plus all the those living enzymes and minerals means less work your body has to do so the result is a beautiful youthful glow. I have received such comments, which are always great to hear but I have been hearing this more so lately. From people who don't know me to people in the raw food world.
