That's the difference between me and you. If it looks like a lot of work, I'm not doing it (when it comes to cooking). Not only do you make the hard recipes, you even make sure they look pretty.

I can totally see you doing this stuff.

The antibiotics have made it even worse...any suggestions, e-mail me. If I can get into my Google account. Dizzy from ears not even logging in really, but didn't want you to think I didn't appreciate your visit.

So it had been quite awhile since Yardsnacker and I had our cupboards full of our favorite raw treats and supplements so this past Saturday we finally stocked up at our local raw store, Raw Vegan Source (they mentioned they were in the process of updating their website so not sure it's really up to snuff just yet but for those interested they do ship nationally). Just thought I'd share some of the things we bought. Some of the things we picked up were definitely splurges or rather, new for us. Such as this candy bar. It was pretty good. I thought the chocolate itself could use more sweetening but the filling was delicious! If you're not familiar with raw caramel it's not ooey-gooey like you'd typically find in conventional candy. This has a drier texture - just no t gooey - but was perfectly sweet and satisfying li ke caramel. Monumental

Yesterday, I asked Sam to take the microwave out of the kitchen. His jaw dropped. Of course, he had to remind me what I told him last year that I would NEVER get rid of it. ha ha! Times have certainly changed. But since he's not ever going to use it and I rarely use it and won't be using it for the next 96 days I figure move it out and free up some space. Maybe we'll keep it in storage for a bit or just give it away. Haven't decided on that yet but for now, my kitchen is microwave-free.
