Poll is closed, results are in!

Results being both unofficial and official. I went for my sonogram yesterday, which was very exciting!

So the unofficial results are as predicted by readers: 25% voted a boy; 25% voted twins and 50% voted a girl.

Officially, I will tell you this first off I am NOT having TWINS! Big phew! Although, that would've been fun. Twins don't run in either of our families so I didn't think along those lines much - well, maybe a little. :)

Now, boy or girl? Well, a whole lotta you thought girl (including me) not just here on my blog but at work, in my family, etc. Anytime someone I knew said "boy" I thought really? You sure? Well, the 25% of you who said boy and the rare person I spoke with who said boy are...

Right.

I'm having a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are so happy and excited and certainly looking forward to his debut next spring. What will he look like? What will we name him? Anyway, now call me biased but I believe he has the most perfect profile ever. Take my word for it k? ;)

I'm not ready to share his pics at this point, at least publicly, but can I just tell you how amazing ultrasounds are? All the detail they can capture from so many angles and just to see him moving around inside was so amazing and beautiful. His hands, his feet, his heart, everything - it put me on cloud 9 all day. Still am.

We are so happy to be the proud parents of a baby boy. No doubt he'll be much loved. Maybe just for fun I'll have to dress him as a girl just once....ha ha! Just kidding!

Oh my goodness you guys!!! It's so exciting! And although I initially voted twins (bc I too thought - how fun!), when your 12/2 post mentioned you'd be finding out soon, boy was the first thing that popped into my head.

Yay!!!!!! Even though I voted girl I am so happy for you both!!

Go ahead and dress him up as a girl. Just once but...be sure and get a photo for his first date. LOL

Aren't those ultra sounds so wonderful? I saw my grandson in 3-d. They got a full-on front face shot and I printed it. When he was born, he matched perfectly, down to his beautiful lips. I was so amazed! Of course in color and outside the womb, he was even more beautiful, but even in those b/w shots he was so amazingly beautiful.
Congrats! I have 3 grandsons and 9 granddaughters, 3 boys and 3 girls. I cannot decide which I like the best. Both have their fun sides! Congratulations, sweet Heidi and Sam.

congrats on the Baby Boy news.I have 2 grown boys and love boys.I hope all is well with your pregnancy.I saw your hubby on You Tube and see the 2 of you aren't around the raw sites much.I don't think you are the raw one though.Either way take care.I am Gig harbor where R you?
