Before I get into this review I must gripe about something. My computer is broken AGAIN! Yes, it is. Apparently, it's the motherboard causing the problems not my hardrive. Grr. So I don't know when I'll have my own computer again but thankfully, Sam's got his I can use. I just don't like using other people's stuff especially the computer because sometimes I like to spend a lot of time on it. hee hee! Okay, that's out of the way now on to my product review. What's the product I'm reviewing you ask? Well, I'm going to give you my review of the Vita-Mix 5200 ! We currently have the 5000 model but had been eyeing this upgraded version when we first saw it. I was so happy to get my grubby little paws on this. Don't get me wrong, we loved our first Vita-Mix (I think it loved us back) but when we started using the 5200, wow. What a difference (we've had the cheap blenders before and they just don't cut it). First the lid. It's so much e

So I'm slowly getting back in action now that my computer is back up and running (thanks honey!). My hardrive died just before I started my Christmas vacation three weeks ago and then a cell tower near my home also died that I had intermittent (at best) internet on my phone so intentions of getting caught up on blogs was out the window. I used Sam's computer from time to time but I don't like having to use other people's stuff and take up their time so I wasn't online as much. I suppose this was a good thing of sorts. At times I did feel slightly disconnected from people/the world but it also was nice to not be so attached to my computer. Anyway, new hardrive is installed and all's well again. In fact, on my vacation I had intentions of learning how to knit and/or crochet. I went out and bought all kinds of yarn and the basic tools but yeah....that stuff is still in the bag. I still plan on learning, maybe even take classes. If any of you know of good websites o

...the BELLY! Sheesh you guys! Beg beg beg. Ha ha! Just kidding! I'd want to see it too. Sorry it's not a better pic. I'll have to work on it. The belly pic that really shows it off is also the least flattering so you won't be seeing that one. You know how it goes. :D And yes, we got RockBand2. It's so fun! How about this instead? I'll work on a better baby bump pic - one I can live with. :)
