Everyone in my family got the dreaded gombou and I was the only one who didn't get sick, they were all out of commission for two weeks at a time. Take those sick days and go play golf! One of the many benefits of clean living:O)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474386507019265637.post-8737057920630514762008-04-14T10:17:00.000-07:002008-04-14T10:17:00.000-07:00Hi RosieThanks for stopping by my blog. I get SO excited when I get a post from someone new!

Recently we were at our son's home, and I was talking about the juice feast with a friend of his. David said that he has always resorted to juicing when he gets sick, rather than going to the doctor - and that it has always gotten him well.

As to myself, since my raw foods experiment began about six months ago I have not been sick once. While my son was living with us, I was probably only about 75% raw (for 3 of those months) - but I still got through the season without being sick. Everyone else in the house was sick at least once.

Back to good old Hippocrates: let food be thy medicine.
maryyxMARYYXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09420119340319077114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474386507019265637.post-17410748955810095332008-04-13T06:26:00.000-07:002008-04-13T06:26:00.000-07:00Hi, excellent post! Not even a sniffle...so yes for sure clean living, eating raw it definitely has something to do with our catching colds or allergies!! Let's hope its a thing of the past for us all!!! :O()
MichelleMichellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13012277904032798697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474386507019265637.post-88250514980026020962008-04-12T07:36:00.000-07:002008-04-12T07:36:00.000-07:00I'm positive that good clean living surely has a g...I'm positive that good clean living surely has a great affect on your health. It will be interesting to see if it makes allergies better. I hope it does- because you get down-right miserable.

BTW, did you have any tummy problems on Thursday night? I sure did and was thinking it might have been from lunch. If that were the case, you'd have been sick too, since we ate the same thing.RisibleGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04346813156794934802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474386507019265637.post-13344242445519435632008-04-11T23:10:00.000-07:002008-04-11T23:10:00.000-07:00LOL. I can only imagine raw live vegan ups it all the more. You go, girl! :o)Isle Dancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04755103029114698264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474386507019265637.post-75331626630165140622008-04-11T17:17:00.000-07:002008-04-11T17:17:00.000-07:00I really think it's true! I have been so sick all ...I really think it's true! I have been so sick all winter, and have asthma but no allergies. I have been on antibiotics like crazy this season, because every cold morphed into an upper respiratory and sinus infection. I started sniffling last Sunday, and although my nose is still a bit runny, I'm not nearly as sick as I have been. It's more of a little nuisance than a cold, really. I'm a teacher and we have had every bug known to man around this spring. I'm ready for 70 degrees and open windows.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02788800985773245111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474386507019265637.post-39295790606089749302008-04-11T06:41:00.000-07:002008-04-11T06:41:00.000-07:00Hey Rosie, Love the Post!!!! Thanks for the shout out!

Funny thing about allergies,I was thinking the same thing... although, I am more worried that maybe I will be more sensitive to all the "pollen" in the air.

Can't wait to hear how yours are going to do... I'm getting the sniffles and sneezes already!!!Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09189822877694421370noreply@blogger.com
