Remember her always yelling, "Abner! Abner!" as she stared out her window. Hilarious that you have her picture posted. The gardening looks quite industrious. Hope you are having a good week, Rosie.
AlexandraAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474386507019265637.post-59799932628241697052008-06-03T16:41:00.000-07:002008-06-03T16:41:00.000-07:00Hi there! Your plots look great and inspired me to convince my friend Kelly to turn her garden into a community garden for me...ha!

I helped her till another huge plot on Saturday and she said she'd grow veggies for me, so I'm going to just help her with hers this summer, I'm looking forward to having some company in gardening.Carrie Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00543899571974228089noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474386507019265637.post-36644169936454775162008-06-01T22:32:00.000-07:002008-06-01T22:32:00.000-07:00I love that ambitious asparagus! I had always learned that it was solitary, meaning it doesn't live with other bees, and it lives in the ground. I looked it up in wiki and they say it lives with about 50, but it does live in the ground, so maybe you were disturbing it's entrance?
It looks like you have worked so hard on this! congrats!
